Services

Your smile is very important and we would like to help you keep that beautiful smile and maintain your dental health. Here are some services we provide for restorative, cosmetic, and preventive care:

Restorative

Amalgam Fillings

Dental amalgam is the most researched and tested restorative material among all used today. The amalgam is a stable alloy made by combining several elements together. The combination of this group of elements create a safe a durable filling material. Amalgam fillings are very useful for restoring molars due to their strength in withstanding heavy chewing.

Composite Fillings

Composite fillings are a mixture of glass or quartz filler in a resin form that produces a tooth-colored filling. Composite fillings are a great option for someone who is having their first filling or a filling in an area of the mouth where it will be noticeable to others.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal Crown

This type of crown has a combination of porcelain bonded to a supporting underlying structure of gold alloy that creates a very strong and durable protective barrier for a tooth. Crowns are sometimes but not always used to protect a tooth that has not always used to protect a tooth that has been treated by a Root Canal. The natural tooth structure is reduced to accommodate for the placement of a crown and the fit. A shade is also chosen for the crown for aesthetic purposes.

Fixed Bridge

A Bridge is used to replace missing teeth with artificial teeth, looks great, and literally bridges the gap where one or more teeth may have been removed or are genetically missing. A fixed bridge is placed by your dentist and cemented in your mouth.

Conventional Denture

Is a full denture that is made and placed in a patients mouth after any remaining teeth have been removed and tissues have healed.

Immediate Denture

Is a full denture that is made and placed in a patients mouth at the time any remaining teeth are removed.

Partial

Removable partial dentures usually consist of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored base and connected by a metal framework.

Implants

Dental implants help to solve the problem of a missing tooth in a way that looks and feels very natural. An implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium. The implant then serves as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges, or a denture.

Endodontics (Root Canal)

Treatment of an individual tooth when the nerve has been infected by bacteria. The nerve and other tissues from the pulp cavity are removed and then replaced with dental filling material. Final restorations may involve a permanent filling and crown.

Cosmetic

Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening also known as bleaching, brightens teeth that have become discolored or stained. Our office offers two take home systems for use at your convenience.

Bonding

Bonding can improve that appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, stained, or have spaces between them. In bonding, tooth-colored materials are applied or bonded to the tooth surface.

Veneer

These are thin custom "shells" made to cover the front face of a tooth. Veneers are made of tooth-colored porcelain and used to correct spaces between teeth or teeth that have been chipped or warn, permanently stained, poorly shaped or slightly crooked.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal Crown

Preventive

Dental Sealants

Sealants are placed to act as a barrier, protecting the teeth against decay-causing bacteria. The sealants are applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (premolars and molars) where decay occurs most. Sealants are used to protect both children and adults from trapping harmful bacteria.

X-Rays

Dental x-rays help to provide valuable information to your dentist about your oral health. X-rays help your dentist to see what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums and to evaluate bone level. Cavity detecting x-rays are best if taken once a year, however a full series of mouth x-rays are generally "current" for approximately 3-5 years.

Periodontal Treatment

The treatment is a non-surgical procedure that requires a hygienist to thoroughly clean a patient’s roots and teeth to help heal inflamed or infected gum tissue. This treatment involves a series of appointments in which the dentist will numb certain areas of the mouth to be treated.
